This website is operated by R.G.M. Renovations Pty Ltd, ABN 68 701 833 481, trading as R.G.M Renovations. We are a renovation builder based in Bundaberg, Queensland. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean R.G.M. Renovations Pty Ltd.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us when you contact us or send an enquiry through this website. That includes:
- your name
- your phone number
- your email address, if you provide it
- your suburb
- a description of the work you are planning
- any photos you choose to send.
If you become a client, we also collect the information needed to quote, contract and carry out the work, such as the property address.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, prepare a quote, and carry out and invoice the work. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have agreed to that.
Photos you send us
Photos you send with an enquiry are used only to understand and assess your project. We do not publish them. Photos of completed work are shown on this website only with the written permission of the homeowner.
Who we share it with
We share your information only where it is needed to do the work or run the business. That includes:
- licensed trades and suppliers engaged on your project
- the Queensland Building and Construction Commission, where required for home warranty insurance and notifiable work
- service providers who host our email and website, including Google.
Some of these providers may store information outside Australia. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as it is needed to respond to you. We keep client records for as long as needed to carry out the work and to meet our legal, tax and record keeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information sent through the website.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 30 days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
